When did it all go to shit?
Her calculations had been perfect. She'd inspected the machine herself. It shouldn't have been breached â she shouldn't have been there. Not with the PRISONERS, not with Blaire, and certainly not with a swarm of shit flying around taking everybody out ( a polite way of saying that they were getting fucking brutalised ) .
She'd managed to climb through a gap at the top of a door, narrowly escaping the grabbing hands of test subjects and the sharp slashing of wielded shattered glass. Her breath left her lungs on impact, but that didn't stop Beth from quickly scrambling to her feet and spotting the other figure in the room.
"Holy fuck," Her voice was breathless, once wide eyes now squinting. As if she was angry at the mere prospect of someone other than a Murkoff employee or TOOL being in the hellscape of a building.
"You're not going to KILL me are you, mate? Because, honestly, I could use one interaction that isn't bullshit."
                    @shadowscepteredâ liked for a thing!

        He didnât need to be a psychic to sense eyes staring at the back of his head. And quite frankly these werenât the typical curious gaze heâd feel from most strangers. This felt different; unnerving to the point where Silver turned to address them directly. Even if he hadnât seen anyone yet, the time traveler held his ground.Â
â Stop being a creep. I really donât have the patience for it today. â

Metal hand found shelter upon her burning forehead, lips etched into a firm line that had the flickering image of Johnny nervous concerned. She paid Vale no mind as they stirred awake, merely whispering when she was confident they were lucid: "I just spent time with him, didn't I?"
@haerleenâ said: âWe are so dead.âÂ
   The silence that followed the shattering of the glass orb was deafening. Heâd barely brushed passed the pedestal when his arm hit the corner, causing it to wobble and the dark sphere to go rolling out off the edge. In a feeble attempt, heâd reached out to capture it but it was in vain as it slipped past his finger tips. He froze in place, uncertain of what his next action should be, only moving when Harley spoke up, freeing him from his paralysis. His eyes glanced to her before looking back down at the shattered remains.
      âWe hide under rug?â He mimicked sweeping the broken parts under the run that ran down the length of the hallway.Â

Semi plotted starter for @vendettacanonsâ
  The day had started just off bad, beginning with an abrupt awakening from a night terror that left her trembling for an hour. Even a shower didnât help the quakes or the overwhelming impeding feeling of doom and failure that often followed these nightmares. It continued to get worse as she received a devastating message that only added fire to the ruinous feeling dwelling inside her. As she tried to push through the day everything she attempted to do backfired or other crewmates pointed out flaws in what and how she did everything. It felt as though she couldnât eve breathe properly without someone questioning her methods. She had had enough and was heading down to the cargo to find a way to vent her frustrations when she got called on a mission. But not just any mission. Sheâd been paired up with the new alien, Jaal, to investigate a signal located in some facility on some backwater planet while the others went to deal with some Kett. She much rather have gone with them, able to vent by terminating the hostile aliens.
   However, she respected Ryder and their willingness to overlook her past and give her a chance to redeem herself. It was a difficult task and it was known among the crew that she and Jaal had gotten off on the wrong foot at the start and had never really been able to amend their declining relationship. Perhaps that was why Ryder was beginning to push them together more often. Eventually something would break and theyâd either have to talk it out and understand one another or worse case scenario, one of them lost their life. The flight to the planet was quiet, a tension building in the air so palpable it was almost suffocating. It came as a relief when they were actually able to land and get out of the tight shuttle.Â
      âAh,â she sighed, pulling her AR out as she stepped off the ramp of the shuttle. The air was crisp, clean, and heavy with a humidity that had beads of sweat beginning to form on her flesh. But still, it was more favorable than the cramped shuttle. Her eyes glanced over her shoulder, looking to Jaal as a pout creased her face. âLetâs get this over with. We didnât get many details about what happened but there hasnât really been any intelligent signals just a beeping that repeats every so often. If anyone is alive we canât assume theyâre non-hostile,â she said, making her way toward the front door. Outwardly, it appeared fine but sheâd been on too many missions like this where the real horror lied inside. As they approached the doors shuttered open, hitching slightly. The halls were dark, void of any light except from what filtered in front behind them and the cracked windows.

   Too late. Bloodsport had made the grave mistake of turning his back momentarily while Nanaue hovered just behind him. The child-like curiosity had gotten the best of him and he was already prodding at the mercenaryâs equipment. He knew better than to touch the manâs belongings but seeing the weaponry in action and how easily Robert used put it all together in battle was awe inspiring. He didnât have a clue of how any of it really worked or worked together but it couldnât have been that hard right?Â
   At the mercenaryâs command he removed his hand, albeit, disappointed. Without hesitation, he turned to look look back at the rest of the arsenal. âI try?â He asked, pointing at one of Robertâs slingshot gauntlets. He had no real desire to use them in battle but perhaps if he showed more interest in Bloodsportâs things he wouldnât speak to him in an exasperated tone.Â
